Dutch banknotes are the prettiest in the world

I found some tucked away in my wallet several days ago, folded neatly and hidden since July. They are "tien gulden" (10 guilders). They are blue and linear, clean and inviting, the way I remember the whole country. They are still crisp.

Globalization? The efficient and standardized exchange of goods, services, and information? Bah, I say! I want my beautiful old-fashioned unscalable homegrown diversity!
