Hoo-ah!

I was in Florida this past weekend for a conference. Now I have a sunburn. In March!

I wrote about the conference on the Research Journal, where you should feel free to participate in the unfinished debate about what human science is or should be.

Less scholarly notes about the weekend:

* I found a tiny baby jellyfish, bright blue. Turns out it was a Portuguese Man Of War, one of which later stung my roommate while he waded.
* Coconuts in Florida are not ripe in early March. They are, though, easy to get down from trees.
* Boca Raton is really pretty, but I wouldn't want to live there.
