Several Links, A Little Commentary
[After all, she asks, what more is a blog?] * Of course, I was in Baltimore 3 weeks ago, before I knew of the existence of such a wonderful project as the Book Thing. Free books! All weekend! Every weekend! It's a BONANZA!! I guess I will have to content myself with Booklend [via calamondin] until my next trip to Baltimore, which will also involve a stop at IKEA. The fun never stops in Baltimore. * I'm searching for fabric to make some bathrobes with my new sewing machine (an idea I stole from a creative friend). And now I'm moved to distraction by Alexander Henry fabrics -- cowgirl pinups! sushi! -- which I can only find through some shady looking fabric vendors online. Oh, and Ebay. Someone, please tell me where I can get this stuff more than 2 yards at a time and for less than $9/yard (because who wants a $45 homemade bathrobe?)...

ooo, ooo, i want the great outdoors one. if i can't have a bathrobe with scantily-clad outdoorsy women on it, then i don't want to go on living.

You can find some Alexander Henry fabrics at www.fabricblowout.com for $4.99 and less. I just placed an order there myself and am awaiting delivery. Hope you find what you need.
